With election upon us, there’s the usual parade of campaign promises, campaign denunciations and campaign veneer galore. One reads and listens until he has a mind to leave it all to someone who ’can understand it better than he, and with a humble shrug “I’m just not going to vote. It doesn’t make any difference because they’re going to elect whom they want, anyway.” Deliver us from this attitude. You do make a difference. Besides a lot of “you’s” makes a "they” who swings an election. Choose your candidate intelligently and vote for him . . . Republican, Democrat, or whatnot. The important thing is exercise this right.
