Flint Hill 4-H met for November “ meeting, Monday. The program was a folk dance by members of the club. Mrs. Frank Cary demonstrated the steps in making an ironing board ~ cover and the agent showed how to make a cover for a clothes basket
Mary Ellen Williams was acting president at the Reager 4-H club meeting. The open prayer was made by Gardner Williams. During program, Geneva Wines demonstrated the measuring of dry ingredients and Shirley Pritchett—the Basic Seven. The Traveling Basket with its contents will be auctioned off Saturday, November 14 at 7 p.m. in front of the Health Office (to the highest bidder). The basket took in for the Bazaar exactly $96. An .. interested friend raised the amount to exactly $100. This little project was a great help to the furnace fund. We wish to thank each one for their support. There will be a few packages also to be sold the night of the auction. These will be in a bag and you will reach in and select yours for 20c each. So plan to meet us in front of the Health Office, Saturday at 7 p. m. for a bit of fun.
