At the Washington 4-H club' meeting Tuesday, Ann Yates was elected song leader. Committees appointed were as follows: Finance—Evelyn T. Miller, Bernice Nethers, Junior Atkins; Sick—Lelia Gentry, program chairman gave an excelent talk to the- members on filling out 4-H record books.

Carolyn Brown presided at Sperryville I 4-H club Tuesday. Lily Spence and Dorothy ‘Atkins joined as members. The care of the teeth was-topic used for project work this month. Sperryville II 4-H met Wednesday. Mary Lou Davis, program chairman demonstrated “How to 'give a demonstration by showing the steps in making a handkerchief. Plans for care of room were made by the girls and principles of room arrangement were discussed. , (Sperryville III 4-H met on Wednesday. A revised list of committees included: Sick—Annie Dod son, Elizabeth' Printz, Florence Atkins; School—Alice Dodson, Janet Lillard,' Beverly Kuhn; Finance—Mildred Maney, H. B. Atkins, Bemice Burke, Beverly Kuhn was welcomed as a new member. Florence Atkins gave a talk on How To Keep Records. Forest Grove 4-H met Friday morning. Rose Lee Jenkins was wel'' Corned- as' a" new''mehibef. -' Jimmy' Atkins was elected vice president and John Jolliffe was elected devotion leader. The girls began the making ~of needle books. -Amissville 4-H meeting was Friday afternoon. The girls selected their pattern and measured to select correct size of patterns.
