4. Outstandng accomplishments have been made in the growth of Result Demonstrations in 1953. There were 31 such demonstrations in living rooms, bath rooms, kitchens and home ground improvement. Results show that because of these demonstrations fourteen families have made improvements in their homes. Improvement included: 10 walls papered or painted, 6 rooms floors sanded and refinished and or new floor cover obtained, 11 pieces of furniture springs tied and upholstered slip covers and three installing water and bath. , . , Other improvements made , were for convenience and more comfortable family living. Eighteen families have improved the appearance of the home grounds. Improvements made/ were improving of entrances, walks, driveways and planting of shrubs and perennials for continuous bloom.

Wade Massie Transferred
To D. C. Hospital Wade H. Massie, who recently suffered a fall whendiis horse slipped on a rolling stone, was transferred Sunday afternpon from Warren Memorial hospital, Front Royal to Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D. C. Mr. Massie's condition is reported satisfactory.
