Mrs. Elizabeth Buntin motored to Blue Ridge Sanatorium recently accompanying David J. Racer, who went there for a check-up. The report was that Mr. Racer is much improved.

Mrs. A. M. Verner and Miss Elizabeth Verner visited Mrs. Henry Jenkins in Willwood, Sunday. Ray~mond Jenkins motored to Millwood with Mrs. Verner and Miss Verner.

Mrs. J. N. Major, Mrs. James . Van L, DeBergh and children, Jimmy Van, Bess and Dickie and Mrs. Elizabteh H. DeBergh were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh at “Ivy Cliff Farm.”

Misses Evelyn Tyler Miller, Mary Norman Davis and Betty Johnson, accompanied by Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. attended the Thanksgiving dances at Augusta Military Academy.

Mr. and Mrs. Wake of Stoneville, N. C. and their mother, Mrs. Maude E. Wake of Lynchburg were dinner guests Thanksgiving Day of Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Wake. Mr. and Mrs. Benny Bruce of Front Royal were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bruce. In the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce and their guests dinned in Sperryville at the annual* dinner served by the ladies of the Methodist church. Mrs. C. H. White of Linden was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at their home, Twinland. Dinner guests of the Campbell's on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie, and Pickens Barker. Dr. and Mrs. Whitlock of Front Royal motored over for their mother, Mrs. White in the afternoon.
