Since sending out suggestions for spraying cattle for lice control to all Rappahannock farmers several tele* phone calls and office. visits have been made by farmers who have found their cattle or calves to' be lousy but, who apparently did not get the mimeographed instructions. We also have a few of these suggestions so call in case you want them. *•
Regardless check and re-check your cattle for lice infestation no matter whether you did or did not spray for flies last summer. This may have killed lice then but there have been plenty of opportunities for reinfestation since. Like it or 'not most -cattle—anywhere in Virginia are lousy—the important thing is not to neglect treatment to get rid of 'em.
