Mrs. L. J. Turner and A. J. Slaughter were in Culpeper Monday. Mrs. Kate Petty accompanied them as far as Boston and visited with her brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lillard.

Lil?. Whortan, daughter, Yvonne, J. W. Clatterbuck, Jimmy Clatterbuck and Thurman Whorton spent the day Sunday with Martha Whorton and Leter Sampson of Sterling.

Mrs. W. Arthur Miller and Miss Evleyn Tyler Miller will leave Thursday for Richmond to be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brent. Mr. Miller will join Mrs. Miller and Evelyn Saturday morning and they will attend the wedding of Gordon Lindenblad to Miss Mary Hamilton Caskie, Saturday evening.

Capt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick of Rockhottom had as heir dinner guests Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. John Davis, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones.
