Each of the 3 panelists gave a short talk and then opened the floor for discussion.
A special White House Tour will be conducted this morning (Thursday) and tomorrow morning, followed by a Women’s Group Session, and to hear general session and a reception for women delegates.
Mayor Davis will participate in a —workshop on “Traffic Problems and Suggested Solutions” in the final session Friday morning.

Mrs. Davis, in an interview before her departure, stated that participants in the convention would in* basic groups: business, women, agriclude representatives from seven culture, public officials, medium of public information, organization and labor. In her study preparatory to the conference, she found out that 1952 traffic numbered 38,000, more than those American armed forces lost the in battle in Korea. Safety organizations and public officials have long since learned how to reduce accidents. The Conference’s purpose is to translate knowledge into results by means of vigorous, continuing public support.
