joined his wife and daughter for a few days during the past week. While home, Mr. and Mrs. Younger and daughter, Patrica Gail visited the former’s mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Lowman of Cordova. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Woodward and family who have been renting the home of Mrs. Heyl have now moved to the house known as the Luther Woodward home.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whorton and children of Centreville spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Utz.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hitt had as their guests during the past week, Mrs. West Walters and Mrs. Grace Green of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. Lillard Jolliffe and twin boys, Larry and Barry and Ernest Mozingo. Little Kenneth Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Mills Jr., is suffering with a broken arm which occurred on Sunday afternoon. He was rushed to the University Hospital, Charlottesville, at once by Mr. and Mrs. Mills and Charles Russell Mills.
Those who visited Mrs. Arthur Woodward, who is a patient in the Physicians’ Hospital, during the past week besides her family .were Egbert Woodward of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Woodward and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Martin and others.
The Castleton H D club held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 9 at the home of Mrs. Menefee Utz. The meeting was on “Ironing Shirts.”
