Mrs. Maury W. Brown was a week end guest of her daughter, Mrs. Maurice Shirey in Front Royal. Miss Jean Brown was a week-end guest of her cousin, Miss Mary Helen Bruce at “Barlow.’’

Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Bruce, Robert Bruce and Mrs. Haywood Griffith of Front Royal visited Mrs. Annie T. Bruce during the week end.

Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland were Mr. and Mrs.» A. R. Partlow of Culpeper. Additional dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Partlow of Culpeper, Mrs. E. W. Gore and her sons, Donald and Eddie Gore.

Mrs. Luther S. Jenkins has been ’confined to her home by illness, during which time her son and daughterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Jenkins Jr., and baby have been staying with her.

Mr. and Mrs. Tasker Woodward and two chidren, Larry and Barbara were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Woodward’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud.

Mrs. Jack Brown and son of Leesburg are spending: two weeks at “Rock Villa’’ with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown. While Mr. Brown, assistant county agent in Loudoun, is attending classes at V.P.I. in Blacksburg. Mrs. Paul Thompson « and Ann Rodes are at the Brown home for several days while Rev. A. Paul Thompson is attending a ministers’ conference in Richmond.

Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. George‘W. Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Philip Love of Silver Springs, Md.

Miss Marjorie Snead, Mrs. F. D. Coffey and Miss Mary Miller Wood motored to Dinwiddie on Saturday for the day.

Mrs. Thomas Cozzo of Washington, D. C. spent from Tuesday _ to Thursday last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Mrs. James M. Yates, who returned to D. C. with her, is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor and fam—ily.-^- —ily.-^Mr.

and Mrs. Benjamin H. Weddle Jr. and son, Jeff were dinner guests on Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor Jr. Mr. Weddle, who formerly was assistant county agent here, is now employed in the same capacity in Warren County.

Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Head and family of Charlottesville were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton. , • win
