Benefit Card Party Proves 2-Way Success
Friday night’s benefit card party conducted for the Polio Fund by Polio Drive Officers and chairmen, in the auditorium of R.C.H.S., was a great success both financially and-* socially. One hundred and one dollars and eigbty-two cents was realized from the party. After expenses for ice, janitor, drinks, etc., had been deducted, $89.44 was turned over to the Polio Fund.
ELDER J. H. DALY TO CELEBRATE 50th ORDINATION ANNIVERSARY
A celebration will be held on Sunday, February 21 at the home of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Elder Daily’s ordination as a primitive Baptist minister and also his birthday. Elder and Mrs. Daily spent the week end in Martinsburg where they were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Barr. Elder Daily conducted services at the Primitive Baptist church on Saturday and Sunday. On their return trip Sunday, they visited some patients in Front Royal Hospital. :~
