MISSIONARY SOCIETY
The Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church met at the church Tuesday evening, July 6 at 2:30 to discuss their topic of the month, “Seed Time in the Philippines.” Mrs. L. J. Turner acted as program leader for the meeting. A hymn “To The Work” was included in the program. Among those taking part in the devotional period were Mrs. Gilbert Updike, Mrrs. D. C. Updike, Mrs. C. G. Reid, and Mrs. Stant Weaver. Ten members attended this July meeting, with one new member, Mrs. V. R. Updike, present.
