Mrs.Virginia G. IVIiller, field representative of the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies, attended a -two—day—meeting—at the Hotel Chamberlain at Old Point Comfort June 28 and 29 according to J. E. Bradshaw, the Companies local district ^fles manager.

The firms’ agents, claimsmen,\ field underwriters, and regional office staff heard reports on their region’s progress last year, and made plans for future expansion. They also heard an address, “The High Road to Leadership,” by W. A. White, Columbus, Ohio, VicePresident iii charge of Sales.

The second day of the meeting was reserved for small group discussions of problems in the sales, claims, and underwriting fields.

The Qld Point Comfort meeting is"bne of 17 scheduled~foT~the— next few weeks throughout the companies 13-state operating territory.

CHURCH . SERVICES

There will be a preaching service at the old Mount Salem Baptist Church near Castleton, on Sunday, July 11 at 8 p.m. The Rev. Joseph G ravee-of Elkwood will be the preacher. All those who are interested in the reviving and re-opening of this old church are urged to be on hand for the occasion.
