Flint Hill News Notes

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and family were Sunday guests of Mrs. Rector’s parents, Mr. and , Mrs. Johnson of Sperryville. *

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Cook Write friends that they are very much pleased with their new home in Lovingston. Upon their arrival the church greeted them with a reception.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and son, Douglas and Miss Margaret Cook of Arlington were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Braxton Coopage spent Monday visiting in the Cook home in Flint Hill.

Rev. and Mrs. David Menchhofer and son were recent guests of Mrs. Frank Cary and friends in the county enroute to Michigan where Rev. Menchhofer has accepted a charge.

Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith and sons were recent guests of Mrs. Smith’s parents in their home near Harrisonburg.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Davidson and children of Arlington spent the week end wTith Mrs. M. R. Bradford Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford Jr.

Flint Hill is justly proud of Miss Lelia Gentry for her ability in winning the trrip to Chicago in the 4-H contest.

Mrs. George Darby of Florida vvas a guest last week of Mr, and Mrs. James M. Settle and Mrs. John J. Miller.

Frank Eastham of Arlington is a guest of Mrs. Fannie Eastham.

Rev. Thach, who has been a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital, returned to his home Hranrl in oreatlv imnrnvpd.
