Anderson D. Goodson, recently appointed minister for the Rappahannock Charge of the Metho• dist Churches, including Speriyville, Washington and Flint Hill, moved Friday, with his wife and 8-month-old daughter, Kim Anita, into the Methodist apartment in Sperryville. i
Although this is Mr* Goodson’*first full time charge, he has pastored the Mt. Chapel Methodist Church in Prof fit, and has served as a chaplain for \y% years at Miller School of Albemarle County. . I r.’:.' Mr. Goodson received * degree In Vocational Education from the West Virginia Institute of Technology and taught i for 1 years in Webster Springs. He also • taught at the Miller School for several years before assuming the duties of chaplain there. For 5 years he served in the U. S. Army, 2y% years of this duty, overseas. (He is a member of the VFW.)
Both Mr. Goodson and his wife, the former Betty Lee Fisher, are natives of Dothan, West Virginia. They were married 8 j years ago, while Mr. Goodson was in his senior year at the 'Institute.
Deeply interested in young people, Mr. Goodson has Worked closely with the Boy Scout Movement. He is planning to organize in his churches, several youth organizations. Mr. Goodson is also enthusiastic about- helping ; with community projects. j —..— -—IFive

Three individuals from Washington, D. C, 1 from Maryland and 1 from Vienna have recently purchased property in Rappahan’ nock County. They include:
£. N. Montague of the Internal * Revenue Service, Washington, D. C. and Douglas B. Cornell of the Associated Press, Washington, D. C., who have purchased building sites for summer cottages on the Hazel River;
Andrew Holbrook of the State Department, Washington, D. C., who purchased the Ed Jenkins property for a summer retreat;
John M. Kaye of Bethesda, Maryland who purchased, for reforestation, a 400 acre timber tract near Flint Hill; and E. M. Frost of Vjenna, who purchased 131 acres, part of the Harry Williams farm. Mr. Frost, a building contractor in Vienna, plans to >• raise sheep on his land.
