Lena Spicer Wince Mrs. Lena Spicer Wince, daughter of the late Henry Spicer and Mrs. Liza Jane Menefee Spicer of Rappahannock, died at Fauquier County Hospital in Warrenton last Wednesday, June 22 following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Wince, 80, was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Wince of Orlean. She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Herbert Foster, Flint Hill; Mrs. Vance Butler, Warrenton; Mrs. Grace Barron, Orlean; Mrs. Noah Putman, Limeton; Mrs. Allie Howell of Luray; Mrs. Robert Spanks, ' Coleville, Md.; and Mrs. Eddley Clark, Alexandria; three sons, Robert and Eppie or Orlean and Frank of Warrenton; one brother, Eppie Spicer, Clinton, Md., md 43 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the graveside at Orlean Cemetery, Orleart, Friday, June 24, at 2 pjn. Rev. Paul Watson conducted the last rites. . Active pallbearers were Foley Butler, Charles Foster, Melvin Barron, Ralph Butler, Howard Wince and Robert Grimsley.
