Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, June 25th, at 2 o’clock from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel. A large group of: friends and relatives gathered to pay their respects to one who was greatly loved by all that knew her. The Rev. George WJ Bowman III, assisted by The Rev* Richard Trout, conducted the Jast rites., with interment in the Cannon section of the Fairview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Taylor Updike, Virgil Updike, Roscoe Bishop, Ira Beaty, T. V. Williams and Ray Cannon. Honorary pallbearers were Herbert Hitt, Gordon Wayland, Harry Spicer, Clyde Courtney, W.
