There are many advantages in being in Gaza during Christmas. There were many activities and we met many people. Christmas eve night the young people joined their lovely oriental voices in Christmas carols. Carolling is rather new here and not practiced in Beirut. Surely the stars never shone more brightly than that night and I remembered how the angel had appeared unto Joseph and told him to take Mary and the young child and go into Egypt.
