Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 2 for Lee Roy Williams, 74, who died Sunday afternoon in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, where he had been a patient for two weeks. A native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Williams was the son of John Williams and Pauline Brady Williams. He spent most of his life farming. The.Reverend R. H. Forrester conducted the services at the Front Royal Methodist Church. Burial followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary F. Williams; two sons, Roy O., and Randolph Williams of , Front Royal; 8 daughters, Mrs. Henry Downs, Mrs. Johnson Pomeroy,-Mrs. Rex Shiflett, Mrs. Lester Nicholson, Mrs. Robert Ritenour, Mrs. Anna Morders; all of Front Royal, Mrs. William Hines of Washington, D. C., Mrs. William, Ashton of Leesburg; 2 brothers, Grady Williams of Front Royal, Andrew Williams of Arlington,; one sister, Mrs. Fred Walker of Front Royal, 18 grandchildren'*nd four great-grandchildren. _
Pallbearers were Robert Perry, Lewin Eastham, George Tomko, Willard Downs, Horace Scott and C. V. Herbaugh. _■
