Mrs. B. M. Miller Entertains Mrs. B. M. Miller entertained the Washington Bridge Club and additional guests Thursday evening. October 27. Following the games prizes were awarded Mrs. R. V. Snead, for high score; Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., consolation Mrs. J. E. Keyser, bingo; and Mrs. Elizabeth H. DeBergh, traveling.
Among Mre. Miller’s guests, in addition to the prize winners, were Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Miss Nora Dillon, Mrs. Frank Moffett, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Wallace Critxer, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., and Mrs. R. L. Massie.
Garden Club Meets With Mrs. Williamson The Rappahannock Garden Club met with Mrs. W. R. Williamson, Wednesday, October 26. Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs. W. C. Hall, Mrs. James M. Settle, aqd Mrs. Williamson discussed the planting and care of the perennial border. All the points given in the discussion were quite well illustrated in Mrs. Williamson’s beautiful borders.
The'winners in the exhibits included: for Arrangements: 1st, Mrs. J. G. Revercomb; 2nd, Mrs'. W. C. Hall; 3rd, Mrs. Charles Estes; Specimens: 1st, Mrs. E. M. Tones and second, Mrs. James M. Settle.
The November meeting will be held in the home of Mrs. George H. Davis, when a landscaping architect will be present to discuss the topic — “Landscaping Problem Spots.”
