Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lee Thornton entertained at dinner Saturday evening at the home near Thornton’s Gap. Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. Thompson Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne Mr. and Mrs. John Davis. On Sunday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Thornton were supper guests of Col. Holmes at Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Atkins and family of Richmond spent the week end with their grandparents, Mr. aifd Mrs. Thomas F. Atkins at Honeysuckle Glen and visited other friends and, relatives.
