Flint Hill NPWS Notes
Freddie Pease is home after a long stay in George Washington hospital, where he was treated for burns suffered when his spray plane crashed and burhed in July. After skin grafting and surgery, Mr. Pease's condition is greatly improved. Mrs. Pease and J. T. Pullen have operated Wakefield Service Station in Mr. Pease’s absence.
Miss Kate Walker is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle after closing Locust Grove. Mrs. W. F. Eastham of Shady Side, Md., has returned to her home after- staying with Miss Walker for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke and Mrs. W. H. Houghton, who has been a house guest of the Burkes, visited relatives in Hopewell this week end. Mrs. Houghton returned to her home there.
Mr. and Mrs. Derieux and their daughter of Highland Springs were week-end gusets of Mr and Mrs. John S. Browning and family.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore had as their dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Howard McFall of Front Royal, Thursday evening.
Mrs. A. T. Coppage of Richmond was guest of Mr. and Mrs, W. A. Gentry and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook during the week end.
