Eastham Appointed
To FHA County Com.
Mr. William G. Eastham of Amissville is the new member of the farmers Home Administration County Committee for Rappahannock County, Mr. R. S. Boyle, County Supervisor, announced.
Mr. Eastham’s appointment became effective August 23. The committee on which he will serve determines the eligibility of local farmers who aply for Farmers Home Administration loans. The now committeeman operates a beef cattle farm. He succeeds Mr. J. Ivar Jacobs of Amissville, whose three-year term expired June 30.
Each agricultural county in the country has a similar committee of three members who are responsible for determining loan'applicants’ eligibility, crtifying the value of farms being purchased or improved through Farmers Home Administration* loans ,and making recommendations on loan approvals and loan servicing actions.
