Mr. and Mrs. Margan Johnston and daughters, Kay and Coro* Iyn feturnedSunday from visits to relatives. Thursday they were guests of Mrs. Johnston’s brotherin-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Willoughby of Unionville, spending Friday in Washington, D. C. seeing the sights. The Johnston’s were week end guests of Mr. Johnston’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brooks of Washington, D. C. On Saturday they attended the Montgomery County Fair at Gaithersburg, Md. and report’a fair comparable with a State Fair.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett J. Estes and family spent the week end in Front Royal with Mrs. Estes, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Henry and attended the Page Co. Fair, in Luray.
Mr. Harold Brown Estes accompanied by Mrs. Estes returned to Newton Baker. Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. for a checkup and further treatment.
Mrs. Bertha Brock visited Mrs. Bertha Hudson in Culpeper Friday.

The grass fed cattle market doesn’t promise any great improvement any time soon, and it looks like a good idea to sell just as they are ready, weighing the historical fall price decline against weight gain. Virginia auction prices last week were 50c lower, with standard grade at $16 to $19; good grade.
