Front Royal Woman

Killed By Husband

A fifty-three year old Front Royal man shot his wife, fatally injuring her, Friday morning after following her into WeaversM sh an argument with her.

Front Royal police charged William C Denny with the murder of his wife Mrs. Mildred M. Denny, an employee at a newsstand in the twon.

After arguing, with his wife at the newsstand Denny followed her into Weaver’s Department Store next door where a sfrugle ensued. Denny shot her once in the forehead and as she turned and ran he shot her three times more.

Police said Mr. aiKj Mrs. Denny had been living apart and that she had sought advice about a divorce.

Mrs. Arthur Miller, of the Rappahannock News staff, was in the store at the time of the shooting.
