tors of the Rappahannock News, offered the dub members * money making project for their mdrvidual dubs by selling subscriptions to the News. Through this interest shown by the Rappakaaaock Newt, the overall interest in 4-H activities began to grow in the county. Today, as it was ten years ago, the Rappchamroct News is furthering their interest and support through their pictures and articles about 4-H members and 4-H events. The ‘Farm Bureau and the local Banks have also taken an active part in supporting die 4-H progiam. When funds were needed to send our 4-H “Sheep shearing champion” to Chicago, these organizations as well as people all over the county graciously contributed money which enabled our "County Boy ” to complete in this National Event. These concerns also sponsored our newly organized Honor Club at a banquet last spring honoring club members for their outstanding achievements. The many local businesses, stores and garages have showed their continued interest by also being eager to support the county 4-H program. The 4-H Leaders, helping with die individual clubs, parents and friends of club members have given much of their time in supporting something they truly believe in, “4-H Clubs , ofRappahannock County.”
