Culpeper To Have Tour Of
Homes April 22
The Women of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper will sponsor a Spring House Tour on Friday, April 22 from 10 a.m. until noon and 3.00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets (including admission to both houses) will be $1.00.
“Greenwood”, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Angus McDonald Green and Gayheart House, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Gayheart Jr. will be the two homes open for the tour.
Refreshments will be served at “Greenwood” during both morning and afternoon tour hours. A plantation house, selling plants, herbs, gifts and baked goods will be located on the porch of the “Gayheart Home.”

George Williams, Associate Extension Horticulturalist Winchester Fruit Research Laboratory will make daily broadcasts on peach and apple insect and disease situation, Monday through Friday at 6:25 a.m. on the Mt. Jackson station. April 18, the broadcast will be started from the Front Royal radio station.
