Try k sometime and you’ll get a better idea of the skill required. Winners of the driving contest were: 1st. Lindy Atkins son ^f Mr. and Mrs. Alson Atkins of Sperryville, dungarees donated by Lea’s Store; second Billy Sisk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sisk also of Sperryville, five quarts of oil donated by Merrill Motor Co.; 3r'd. Netus Dodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dodson of Sperryville, $1 cash donated by a friend.
Just for fun and to show what driving experience means in such a contest, Mr. Raymond Sutphin asked if his eleven year old son Wayne, could try driving the course. He did much to the admiration of all present. Result.he put the whole she-bang to shame, ii> eluding the F.F.A. boys who held their driving contest along with the 4-H boys.
