The course was in two phases.*... the two wheeled driving event and a four-wheeled driving event. Each was marked off with strings and stakes. In the two-wheeled event, each boy had to start and drive the tractor to an 8Vz ft. by 12 ft shed, hook on to a manure spreader with 8 ft. wide frame, pull out, back through a 9 ft. by 40 ft. alley way and pull out, drive through a 17 ft. by 50 ft. lot with 12 ft. gates at each corner and making S turns through the lo tin order to go out a gate at a diagonal from the point of entry; then drive back to the starting point. Bitrhday Party
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wayand entertained a family party Friday evening honoring the first birthday of their son James Gregory Wayland. Those present were the grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers, Mrs. Roy Swindler, Mrs. I>ee Swindler and son Bill.
