OBITUARIES
Ambrose B. Bailey
Last rites were held April 1 from the Maddox Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. for Ambrose Booten Bailey who died at his home in Washington, Va. March 30 at the age of 75.
Mr. Bailey, a fanner, was the son of the late James Franklin Bailey and Salie Dwyer.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha Clatterbuck Bailey; two sons, Archie D. ,'tnd Miford B. Bailey of Front Royal; three grandchildren and four great- grandchidren. Also two brothers, George and Richard living at Rixeyvllie, Va. survive.
Rev. Harry J. Lau conducted the service; burial was .it Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Claude M. Compton
Services were held Tuesday, April 5. at 4 p.m. in Maddox Funeral Home for Claude Middleton Compton who died in Limetonorr Monday. Mr. Compton was a native of Rappahannock County, born 83 years ago on May 10, 1876, the son of Edward H. Compton and Mary Partlow. For the past three years he lived in the home of Mrs. George Jones in Limeton.
Surviving are three sisters. Mrs. Meredith Buck of Front Royal; Mrs. B. J. Sonner and Mrs. h. C. Cave of Washington, D. C. Eld. Hollie Rennon was in charge of services and,burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Fayette Moulden
Eavette Moulden of Huntly, died April 5 ih Winchester Memorial Hospital following ap illness of five tnonths. lie was born April 12, I88(>, the son of John Moulden and Kate Bradv.
Surviving are one brother, John in Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Wines in Winchester and Mrs. Lizzie Ixxkhart in Limeton; two half sisters, Mrs. Layrnon Deavers of Brown town and Mrs. Myrtle Smoots in Flint Hill.
Rev. Edward I-ester conducted the services Thursday at 2 p.m. from Willis Chapel Methodist Church and interment was in the Church cemetery.
