Seventh Grade Commencement exercises were held Thursday evening, June 9 for fifty-six members of the seventh grade of Sperryville Elementary School. After the Processional Dr. William Parrish and John M. O’Bannon conducted devotions and the audience joined in the song ‘‘O Worship The King”.

Ronny Hawkins made an address of welcomed followed by “The Fourth R—Responsibility”, given by Dorothy Reeve, Dennis Powers, Gjoria Durden, Janice Dodson, Frances Taylor, Ruth Ann Clark fnd Tim Kilby.

A special sontg, “Blue Ridge” which was composed by Mrs. Matilda Walkpr, was sung by the class.

Mr. Bretnt Sandige, General Supervisor, addressed the class and presented certificates. H. B. Winfrey, Principal of Rappahannock County iHigh School also spoke to the graduatp.

Dr. Parrish pronoupced the Benediction] which was followed by the Recessional. ¥ |
