Washington
A new store opened in Washington, Virginia last week, featuring needs for the whole family. Among some of the items, at a most reasonable price, were bed springs, mattresses, hot plates, electric heater, lamps (antique and new) curtains, kitchen tools, china, glassware, vases, ornaments and novelties of all k rids.
There were men’s suits andshirrs; coats for the ladies, dresses, furs, a nice assortment of jewelry: children's coats, dresses, shirts, pants and Boy Scout uniforms.
These are just a few of the many things that can be found in this store located over the fire house. It is operated for the benefit of the Washington Fire Company and Rescue Squad.
