OBITUARIES
Christopher Carder
Christopher Columbus Carder of Culpeper, a retired painter, died Sunday, September 1 1 at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Carder, 80, was a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late Champ Carder of Rappahannock and Mrs. Lucy Ann Sisk Carder of Madison County. He was a member of the Aft. Lebanon Baptist Church. \
Surviving are hi.', wife, Mrs. Mary Susan Compton Carder of Culpeper; one sister. Miss Bessie Carder of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper; a brother, U. .< i. Carder of Arlington and a number of nieces and nephews of Culpeper and Rappahannock Counties.
Funeral services were held at the Clore Funeral Home'4 at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Parker Dickerson and Rev. John Farrar officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Johnson, J. P. Quaintance, C. B. Johnson, R. E. Ryan, L. E. Cfiittum and Clifton Graves.
