Heart Council Meets

In Culpeper

'I' h e Culpeper-RappahannockWarren Heart Council met Tuesday, September 13 at the Culpeper National Bank in Culpeper, Va.

The Culpeper Council was represented by Mrs. George Shelhorse, and Mrs. Rogers; Warren Council by Mrs. Albert Warrick and Mrs. T. W. Devi4s; Rappahannock by Mrs. Paul Miller. Miss Nancy Lutz, Virginia Heart Replesentative from Richmond addressed the group and showed a film “Time’s A-Wastin.”

Grants have been made by the Virginia Heart directly to medical institutions in Virginia in the amount ot $33,475. In addition to these research grants, Virginia Heart and its chapters are contributing $57,750 to the support of the national research program of American Heart.

The next meeting will be in I'runr Royal in January 1961.
