Hikers Open Season
Members of the Rappahannock Hiking Club will “take to the hills" as they initiate the hiking season Sunday October 16.
Raymond Johnson, leader of the group asks that everyone meet at Sperryville School at 1 :30 p.m. and proceed from there. He advises that each one bring a sandwich and a canteen.

Mrs. Harry Gallihugh of Peola Mills recently attended a meeting of Stanley Home Products, Inc., held at the General Wayne Hotel in Waynesboro, Va. at which time she was awarded a diamond pin in recognition of seven years with the company. Mrs. Gallihugh has also in the past received four gold cups.
