Program

Headquarters L.S. Air Force Recruiting Service has announced that the new Air Force Prior Service Program will be put into effect immediately. Sgt. Osborne, area Air Force Recruiting Service Representative located at 23 South Braddock Street, Winchester, has complete information on this program including the new list of Air Force specialty codes that will be used in procuring former service men for this program. This list inculdes over one hundred specialty codes. In many cases former service members holding one of these will be allowed to return to service in their former grade.

Airman Second Cl: >s (Pay Grade E-3) will be the lowest grade offered former sen ice members eligible to return under this new program.

Sgt Osbqme is also available in Washington, Virginia at the Selective Service Office every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and in Front Royal at the Air Force Reserve Office every Thursday and Ftiday all day.

Mrs. Pearl Mills returned home last Tuesday from Warren Memorial Hospital. Visitors Sunday of Mrs. Mills were Mr. and Mrs. Galen Reel and family of Orange, Lewin Williams and Miss Grade Pullen.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam North were guests for dinner Sunday of their sons Stewart and Jack North and family in Harmony Hollow.

Mr, and Mrs. Alfred Reel and family were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams and family.

Mrs. Sally Leach spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. Pet Smith.
