Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has presented a check for $1,1)00 to the hospital to be used for orthopedic equipment.
This gift will enable orthopedic surgeons to come to Culpeper to perform surgery. Money for the g.it was secured from life memberships in me auxiliary. Co.-r of a life membership i., $100.
The gin was uated at the auxiliary's September meeting held recently, when members also authorized payment of $5UU on the hospital’s hospitality shop equipment.
The auxiliary’s second birthday will be celebrated at the next meeting. scheduled for October 19. Members and guests will be invited to the birthday n-i-ry. Phc auxiliary now has a membership of 476.
Rapp’k Republican Meeting
The regular meeting of the Rappahannock Republicans held on Friday night was well attended.
Suggested names to be made to the election board for workers on election day were agreed upon.
