OUR SCHOOL

On the first day of school everyone was anxious to get inside to look at the new school, which they had wanted, and needed for such a long time. Once inside they saw a very attractive building with rooms that were adequately furnished and properly lighted. First they saw the clinic room where people may gq when they get sick. It was recently changed to the guidance room, which is a program being worked on by three of our teachers for every student’s future. The modern cafeteria, whiah is also used as a class room for science and algebra classes, is something we are fortunate to have this year inside the school building. The home economics department contains two kitchens, work space and a living-dining area which is arranged with all new furniture. I know that all the home economics students and their teacher are glad to have this large room. The teachers this year are very fortunate to have a lounge as a rescue against us annoying kids. These teachers are very deserving of this furnished room. Everyone I m sure is proud of our very beautiful auditorium-gymnasium combination. I hope everyone will do their best to keep it as nice as it is now. It will make everyone much more spirited at the games being able to play them at our own school on such a fine court. The bleachers are very convenient, and will be handy to have for basketball games and other activities here at school. The library is one of the best furnished rooms.in the school. We are grateful to Mrs. Moffett who has tried her best to keep the furniture looking nice. The inter-com system has proved to be a very handy device in saving steps when looking for someone or making- an nouncements. The laboratory is not yet finished but should be very well equipped when it is completed.
