Four Accidents In

County

Friday, December 9 at 9 p.m. on Route 211 two miles east of Washington, a 1959 Triumph roadster owned and operated by Raymond Eugene Fisher of Roanoke turned over in the road over the crest of a hill and a 1949 Ford sedan owned and operated by Willis Pullen of Boston, Va. came over the hill and skidded into the Fisher auto.

Gloria Fisher, a passenger in the Fisher car, was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Flint Hill Rescue Squad, suffering with multiple lacerations of the head, left hip and back and a concussion. Though still hospitalized, her condition is satisfactory.

Raymond Fisher was also treated at Warren Hospital for abrasions and lacerations of the head. He was released the following day. Approximate damage to the two vebicles was $1300.

Saturday, December 10 at 5:25 p.m. at Washington In front of Merrills Garage, a 1956 Chevrolet owned and operated by John Patrick Lane of Woodbridge came around the curve, ran off the edge of the highway and hit a parked car, a 1959 Ford sedan belonging to Jonas Alther of Washington.

$400 in damage tc the vehicles resulted.

Sunday, December 11 at 12:30 p.m. five miles east of Washington on Route 211 a State Highway Department 19 5 1 International truck with a snow plow on it, driven by Virgil Emmett Wilson, Sr., was traveling east when it was struck by Harold F. Hunsicker of Lehighton, Pa. driving a 1954 Oldsmobile and traveling west. The Hunsicker auto skidded into the blade of the snow plow causing $250 damage to the car.

At 1:15 p.m. the same day a mile south of Sperryville, a 1953 Nash owned and operated by Ronald Jacob Parsons or Hagerstown, Md. was traveling north on Route
