Walter Mahoney and Miss Geraldine Dean of Bentonville were, married Saturday evening, December 10 at the Church of God parsonage by Rev. W. O. Riverbank. They are living temporarily in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Mahoney.
Mr. and Mrs. Harve Williams who have been on the sick list are improving.

Mrs. Carroll Menefee was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday evening with the following members playing: Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. Thomas Pillar, Mrs. V. E. Goddard, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Robert E. Wood, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Lucio Ki'lbv. Mrs. John P. Snead, Jr., Mrs. R. E. Ehompson, Mrs.- Roy Reeve. Mrs. Charles H. Estes and Mrs Bart Boehmler. A dessert course was served at the conclusion of the game and prizes were awarded Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Quaintance.
