Governor Almond exercised diligent care imrselecting members of the Commission. Highly competent men and women representatives of various professions; industry ; business and labor; civic, educational, recreational and welfare, who had a genuine interest in and knowledge of the conditions, needs and problems of the aging in Virginia, were selected for this work that affects in some way every' familv in Rappahannock.
The Committee has made an extensive- report to C.overnor Almond, which it will present at the White House Conference January 9-12.
