is America Chapters plan wro will do during the coming . This plan is called a program of work. The program of work divided into goals, projects!, chapter activities, ;and individual activities. The goals and projects are suggested by |the State organization. The first •bjaetwr'is "To develop a better understanding df our family members and to contribute to the r well-being.” The projects under this goal are: Food for Family Fitness, Civil Defense, Polio Project and Family Unity. The planned chapter activities were: To plan and hold a Motber-Daughter Banquet. To make use of school t nd local newspapers to publicize forays of improving family living, and to arouse interest in Civil Defense through newspapers, bulletin boards and assemblies.

Our Mother-Daughter Banquet was held Arif 7. Ncwspaer articles have been! written publicizing ways of improving family living. A bulletin board combining the Polio Project! and Civil Defense was displayed jin March.
