Culpeper Player* Will
Appear In Front Royal
An unusual opportunity to see a riotously funny play, presented in connection with the Wally Byam Apple Blossom Rally on April 27, was announced recently by the Chamber of Commerce of Front Royal and Warren County to area residents.
The play, pesented live, is coming to Front Royal through the cooperation of the Culpeper Players, and is Howard Taeckman’s “The Girls In 509,” a comedy designed to amuse both politicians and constituents.
The play is a satire on political life behind the scenes. It was successfully presented recently in Culpeper by the Culpeper Players, and the arrangement for the appearance in Front Royal was made with Samuel French, through the cooperation of 'Edward Pawley of the Culpeper Players.
Mr. Pawley long time stage, motion picture and radio personality is well known for his portrayal of Steve Wilson in the radio program, “Big Town”, familar a decade ago to 20,000,000 radio listeners.
Area lesidents have been invited to see “The Girls In 509” when it is staged in Front Royal.
