Mrs.-Jessie Wright and daughter, Linda of Culpeper were Sunday visitors of Miss Alice Hitt and Mrs. Hazel Barfield. Mrs. Mellisa Johnson and sons and Miss Ruby Jean Brooke accompanied by Misses Patsy and Faye Burke of Boston and Miss Joan Kibler of Salem were in Washington, D. C. Thursday. Mrs. Joseph Powers was in Roanoke last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Barton Quaintance and family of Wilmington, Del. were recent guests of Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Quaintance.
Mrs. Ernest Birkett and children of Washington, D. C. were weekend guests of Mrs. Birkett’s father, Audie Weaver and sons. Mr. Birkett joined his family on Sunday for the return trip home.
Mrs. Charles Hawkins of Boston and Mrs. Edna Wayland of Washington, Va. were callers Sunday of Miss Janie Hawkins and Yager Hawkins.
Mrs. Frank Jenkins and daughter Peggy of Fairfax were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Conner Jenkins. Mrs. James Hitt of Culpeper and Mrs. Conner Jenkins were Thursday visitors of Mrs. Roy Atkins and family in Sperryvilte.
Mrs. Raymond Fincham, Mrs, Blanche Fincham, John Lamb, Arleen, Peggy and Paul Fincham were in Washington, D. C. Sunday on a sight seeing trip.
