According to the research conducted by the Virginia Agricultural Experiment Station, Stilbestrol implants not to exceed 12 miligrams pej- steer, will result in an average increased gain of 35 pounds per steer, if he is kept on excellent pastireall summer. No adverse side i effects will be had from using the recommended dose. Additional g^ins will be negligible by exceeding the dose and side effects most likely will become apparent.
