The Red Cross Safety Poster is the key toi this do-it-yourself project and may be obtained, free of charge, from local Red Cross chapters. In addition to detailed instructions for erecting the Rescue Station, the poster contains farm pond safety tips and rescue techniques. When glued on the tin can, which tops the fence post, the poster also becomes a permanent part of the Rescue Sation.
Silch a device, while not a sutfstitute for learning to swim, will go a long fvay in warding off tragedy.
