Midsummer Clinic
It is midsummer clinic time at Crippled Children’s Hospital in Richmond, and early on Sunday morning, July 23, orthopedic patients from all over Virginia will begin to gather at the hospital to be examined. By the middle of the day most of the one hundred thirty-six children expected for this clinic will have been checked by the surgeons. Most of. these children have been under the care of the hospital from time to time over a period of years, arid at the clinic, further operations or treatment will be scheduled if necessary, and new braces and corrective shoes will be fitted for those who need them. For the new patients, plans will be made to meet their needs.
The physicians conducting the clinic, as well as the rest of the medical staff of the hospital, are prominent Richmond doctors who give their services absolutely free of charge.
Three patients from Rappahannock County will go to the clinic.
