Incorrect social security reports cause the loss of hundreds of dollars social security credit each year, according to Stanley B. Earl, manager of the Alexandria Social Security Office. Most workers and self-employed persons lare aware of the social security tax, but many of these same people overlook the fact that if this tax is not reported correctly they do not receive the proper credit for their earnings on their social security accounts.
