Club Has Cookout
Mrs. Larry Welch was hostess to the Flint Hill Home Demonstration Club on her lawn Tuesday night. Mr. Welch and Mrs. Carson Lillard gave a most informative and delightful demonstration on outdoor cookery. They use-d a portable charcoal grill to barbecue chicken, hamburgers, and onions and cooked chicken and rice with onion soup in aluminum foil.
Among the members present were Mrs/Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. Frank Cary, Miss Ruth Stevens, Mrs. Wade Pullen, Mrs. Michael Vest, Mrs. Fannis Putman, Mrs. Lloyd Pullen and Mrs. Paul Miller.
The food was delicious and the weather most cooperative.
