Mrs. Lee Swindler, Mrs. J. R. Devers and Mts, Jimmie Wayland and son Greg spent Monday in Charlottesville.

Billy Durden, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Durden, is spending this week at Camp Mar Gore.

Michel Pierre d’Orleans spent Tuesday and Wednesday in New York.

Mrs. Carl Allison of Chicago is with her cousin, Mrs. H. H. Aylor for a visit. Other guests for the weekend were Buddy Aylor and Miss Joan Aylor of Arlington. Joe Aylor, who has been spending two weeks with his grandparents, returned to his home in Arlington 'Sunday.

\ir. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton spent the weekend with theif brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. James M. Thornton at Gate pity. P. Lee Thornton, III is spending the summer with his uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. Thornton.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and sons of Hamilton spent Sunday jwith Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown. Stevie Brown is remaining this week for a visit with his grandpar ents. Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and daughter, Ann Rodes of Fork Union are spaiding this week at Rock Villa while Rev. Thompson is completing a course at the University of Virginia.
